For years, Kelso-Burnett Co. has worked with Midwest Generation for many decades fulfilling their electrical needs at Powerton Generating Station. Projects have consisted of boiler front re-builds, transformer repairs, precipitator builds, cable repairs, cable tray install FD and ID, fan repairs and replacements, turbine repairs, and bus duct repairs and cleaning.

More recently, Kelso-Burnett Co. completed the installation of three microwave towers that were installed as a communication system for two large wind farm projects at Powerton, and Woodford and McLean Counties. Kelso-Burnett acted as the general contractor, furnishing all site grading, road construction, tower caissons, site concrete work, site grounding, fence installation, utility power & emergency power from site generators, & control room wiring.
